In May 2018,Supreme court voted unconstitutional to prohibit sports betting on a federal level allowing states to decide on their own betting policies. Draftkings Sportsbook was the first one to start on August 1st. playMGM launched its mobile app on August 22nd and was followed by Sugarhouse Sportsbook on August 23rd.Finally, FanDuel and William Hill joined the party all the way at the end of August. Other contenders launched in September. Caesars added mobile betting site to its online casino first, then 888 Sportsbook- a well know British betting and gambling giant launched in NJ. The last one to join the scene was BetStars: PokerStarNJ affiliated company designed specifically to cater for sports betting.
